Collaborative Art

I first posted this message at the ArtGallery, at:

I love to see more interaction within this community between artists,
as well as at other groups.
As an example, I can imagine that there are poets who would love to
see painters visualise their words, so we can put both on display at a
suitable group.
I call that collaborative art, i.e. artworks that emerge from the
combined effort of several artists.
I actually started a new group for this, at:
http://groups.google.com/group/collaborative-art
But collaborative art could fit in at any artgroup, poetry group,
etc.
I can also see musicians fit in, making background music for
paintings, or using poems as lyrics for their songs.
Furthermore, there's a lot of scope for graphic artists and webmasters
to put things together in the form of webpages.
Here's what I suggest: If you have art that you like others to do
something with, just upload it as files at

Then, post a message to tell others about your work and to invite them
into making a collaborative art effort.

You can also start a webpage at the group and leave it up to others to
improve it.
