"Masque" Call to Artists

KAXM Gallery announces a call to artists for the month of October. The

opening reception will be held Saturday October 9. Artwork will be on view
from October 2 through October 30.

The theme for the October show is “Masque” and artists are asked to
interpret the theme in their artwork.  The opening reception will be
celebrated with a masquerade ball.

masque also mask  (n.)
1. A dramatic entertainment, usually performed by masked players
representing mythological or allegorical figures, that was popular in
England in the 16th and early 17th centuries.
2. A dramatic verse composition written for such an entertainment.
3. Short for masquerade.

Artists, photographers, sculptors, and jewelry designers who are interested
in showcasing their work in a new venue are invited to submit.
