Hard to believe, but the Aero-Pac equipment cleaning party has finally rolled around again. This is the kick-off for our 2011 Black Rock season where we all get together to see who survived the long winter. The event runs from 10:00 to 3:00 at Steve Wigfield's shop in Petaluma. Info and directions are available on the Launch Calendar page here http://www.aeropac.org/ We'll be emptying the trailer, cleaning rails, looking for broken stuff and generally getting ready for another year on the Playa. Come by for an hour or the day and the board said we could dump some big money on a gala pizza lunch.
I mixed up a whole new batch of hydrochloric acid, so if you have any small items or appendages you don't need, bring em along Saturday. As always, there will be plenty of time to visit and show off the new rocket stuff you got for Christmas. If you're new to the club or just thinking about a Black Rock adventure, this is a great opportunity to meet folks and get some "hands-on" experience with our equipment.
