Собственно, кто пробует -- ваше мнение?

Мой знакомый gentoo-шник отмечает, что перестал тупить Kwin. До этого
он юзал openbox в KDE (4.7.4) в качестве менеджера окон. ))))

На моем железе в кедах, начиная с 4.7.0, ничего не менялось - в
определенной конфигурации все мягко, плавно и быстро. Есть некоторые рюшки,
включение которых затормаживает работу среды. Заметил, что квине пофиксили
баг с обновлением изображения - раньше, в определенных местах он начинал
перерисовывать весь или часть экрана с частотой обновления, когда этого не
требовалось. Главная фишка кде 4.8 - dolphin.
