Hi all,
Part of the resolutions for 2011 here is focusing on sustainable
activities, which means that I have to get rid of several time sinks.
Unfortunately, this includes the open-source branch of ARC. I'm going to
keep the latest revision at GitHub, though, and will copy the main
documentation over to the Wiki there, too[1].
Just wanted to let you know before I turn off the server (and this
mailing list). ARC as such will continue to exist (I'm even working on a
new store and core library), but mainly in client projects.
It's a bit sad to do this, but contract work around the open-source
products didn't really work out; and the upcoming RDF specs are so
complex to understand and implement that I wouldn't have been able to
properly integrate them into ARC2 anyway. Concentrating my energy on
other things for the time being seems more reasonable. I also worked on
a set of new products which will demand my full attention in the coming
months.
Thanks a lot to everybody who used ARC, sent in bug reports, patches,
feedback, and donations. It's been a great time!
