Dear members, friends and friends in rescue:

This senior boy named Sam, was pulled yesterday morning from NYC Manhattan shelter, he is in critical condition and fighting for his life, the vets are trying everything they can to get him better, but his treatment and nursing care comes with a very high cost, specially in NYC, that we cannot afford.
As of now he is severely anemic and needs a blood transfusion among several other things as well as a liver aspirate.   
The estimate we got from the clinic is $ 4, 500.00 the low 
and $ 6, 000.00 the high end.
We are in desperate need of donations to be able to continue with the medical care he needs.
He is currently at Animal Medical Center (AMC) NYC, the clinic will not take donations from the public, therefore this time you cannot donate to the vet directly as in the past many donors have done and like to do.
