Weil Public Relations To Represent

Southeast Area Animal Control Authority (SEAACA)

Los Angeles, CA – December 17 – Weil Public Relations, a Los Angeles public relations firm, is proud to announce their newest client, Southeast Area Animal Control Authority (SEAACA), 9777 Seaaca Street in Downey, CA.

SEAACA animal care center, serving approximately 863,000 residents, provides animal control and adoption services to 14 cities including Downey, Norwalk, Pico Rivera, Bell Gardens, Montebello, Paramount, South El Monte, Santa Fe Springs, Bellflower, Buena Park, La Palma, Lakewood, South Gate and Vernon.  Striving to make a difference in their community, SEAACA works to locate an animal’s owner as an alternate to impounding and housing stray animals. Their field services are provided 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, which includes educating the public to insure a more effective and lasting solution to the pet overpopulation problem. SEAACA also offers low-cost vaccinations, de-worming, flea treatment and microchips to the public for their pets! To expand on their adoption efforts, SEAACA partnered with the Found Animals Foundation to develop the ModPawd. This state-of-the-art pet adoption annex, just outside the shelter, houses healthy cats and kittens and features them on a live webcam to increase awareness of animals in need of adoption.

“We are excited to work with a public relations firm that specializes in the animal-arena, and look forward to bringing more awareness to SEAACA,” states Dan Morrison, SEAACA’s Executive Director. “December is a great time to remind the public about all the animals in need of a home, especially in time for the holidays.”

Tomorrow, December 18, from 10 am to 5 pm, SEAACA will be holding discounted adoption fees as well as supplying pet care products to adopters in celebration of the “Paw-liday’s” event, hosted by Found Animals Foundation. SEAACA, Antelope Valley Adoption Center, all 6 LA City Animal Care Centers, and all 6 LA County Animal Care Centers and will be reducing their adoption fees through December 24, in an effort to place as many dogs, cats, and rabbits into forever homes in time for the new year!
