Below you'll find a copy of the Iditarod's website as it appeared at 7:53 p.m. on Saturday, March 13, 2010. The U.S. Census paid for an advertisement at the top of the Iditarod's website. This barbaric dog sled race is profiting from the U.S. Census using taxpayer dollars for an advertisement. The Iditarod has a long, well-documented history of dog deaths, illnesses and injuries. Our tax money should not be used to support animal abuse.

Complain about this misuse of tax money by contacting U.S. Government Accountability Office and Census Director Robert Groves.
