Miami – Carnival Corp. plans to eliminate gestation stalls from its pork supply chain, according to The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS).
In a statement on the HSUS web site, a Carnival executive said the company plans to phase out pork sourced from suppliers that use gestation stalls for pregnant sows in 10 years.
