Dear list,
I'm a heavy user of emacs. And I maintained my .emacs configuration, which has quite a few packages. Therefore when I was trying to switch to Aquamacs, I found it's kind of slow. But I really like the print interface and tabbar of Aquamacs.
So I'm writing to see if there's a way to "Cherry-pick" these two utilities out of Aquamacs and applied to my configuration, so I don't need to totally switch to Aquamacs?
Thanks a lot.
Chao

Hi Chao,
For the tabbar, someone out there has extracted and adapted the code, I believe. I haven't tried it. Google for it.
For the print feature as it is implemented in Aquamacs, you're on your own. You will need aquamacs-print and htmlize, as a minimum, and the actual print dialog (UI) is in the C-level code.
What about Aquamacs do you find slow? Perhaps there is a way for you to disable some undesired features.
