[Aquamacs-devel] The end of universal binaries?

I find that only 2.4% of all version 1.9 users are on a PowerPC as opposed to the newer Intel machines.
For Aquamacs 2.0, the figure is 1.4%.

We may want to provide separate downloads for PPC users in the future rather than a relatively large universal binaries.

This would make sense to me. Furthermore, you could probably stop
building for PPC at all and let PPC users content themselves with your
last PPC build. The last PPC macs came out in October 2005, so the
user base will soon start dwindling exponentially due to inevitable
hardware failures and upgrades.
