I've been using the nightly - good work!  It seems to work really well so far.

The one thing that I've noticed aside from getting to use Emacs 24 is that the line spacing seems just a bit tighter than the release version.  I actually sort of like it - but ideally I'd like the line spacing a little less tight.

Is this a known and intentional change?  Is there a way for me to tweak it?

(I did search this list, and wandered through the customization menus to see if there were a "line spacing" option or the like, but no luck...)

Thanks in advance.  The new version is sufficiently better I might just suck it up and learn to love the tighter format...

I should add that frames don't work for me in either the release build or the nightly (part of the reason I downloaded the nightly is that I wanted to see if I could get frames working...), so there's clearly something different with my system.

FYI, setting the variable "line-spacing" to 2 did the trick.

There's no "line-spacing" in my .emacs or anywhere else.  Perhaps the default has changed?

Yes. This changed from Emacs 23 to 24 - just a little. You've discovered line-spacing yourself already to adjust it.

Not sure what you mean. "Frames" per se work fine, as does one-buffer-one-frame-mode!

Oh, sorry, quite unclear, wasn't I?

Shouldn't "frames" be the concept to allow me to have multiple OS/X windows, all from the same emacs session?

I'm frankly not entirely sure that will really help the issue in managing my emacs session - I always have too many buffers open.  I'm at a reasonably svelte 419 now but that's because I just removed all the buffers from two projects of mine that  are on the back burner - once I have all my projects going I'm generally over 1000 so restarting is quite a long process.

Ideally, I'd have completely separate instances of Aquamacs, each with separate buffer lists, and even some visual component to keep them separate, so I'd have my echomesh emacs, my Javascript for Max emacs, etc...
