Do We Need Doctors or Algorithms?

One might be tempted to dismiss this blogpost by Vinod Khosla titled Do We Need Doctors or Algorithms? except for two things:
  1. Vinod Khosla is the CEO of Sun Microsystems, and
  2. the number of erudite comments attracted by his post
Although I disagree with Vinod's 20-year timeline and the 80% workforce disruption predicted for physicians, much less physical therapists, I still think the post and the comments are informative.
