Hello,

While I realize that most people use aprx as an
I-Gate or a digipeater, I wanted to beacon gps
Positions as they change (while driving).
How is this done? Should I simply have another
program grab the NMEA data from my gps
and construct a file that aprx will beacon?
Or is there anything in aprx like an "interface"
that can grab NMEA data for me?

Regards,
Sam

APRX has the ability to beacon the contents of a file, so you could create a script that updates the file with a valid beacon from the GPS position.

This will only do "interval beaconing", and not fancy things like SmartBeaconing and such.
