I built via the hbase fix branch and trunk tools just this week and it worked fine (apart from my ongoing issues uploading data)

bzr branch lp:~nchohan/appscale/hbasebuildfix

and

bzr branch lp:appscale/trunk-tools

I'm on Ubuntu 10.04

Hi,

Thanks Phil.

It seems so strange. I used the same branch with you both for the appscale and for tools.

Now I am more confused about this problem.

and does anyone that how to deploy appscale on CentOS? or rhel 5?

I just want to try more as I could!

Any ideas? please let me know.

you sure you put these in your /etc/apt/sources.list and updated and upgraded?:

The latest version is only for Ubuntu Lucid. Do you have connectivity to the repositories? It seems like something is being blocked.
Try addressing the problem its stating:
E: There are problems and -y was used without --force-yes

Change -y to --force-yes

Let me know how that goes.

Thanks
-Raj

hi Raj,
I finished the deploying finally. Thanks for your support.
Still, I want to know how to check the deploying process is succed ? I could not use appscale-tools directly. and I found that those scripts are located in this path: /usr/local/appscale-tools

could anyone please kindly show me how to use it ? I read the user manual, But I still think it could not satisfy my need. Is there any other more docs about it?

Thanks. Early response would be deeply appreciated.
