AppScale 1.7.0 | | |
For our upcoming release, we've got a Trello board that lets you know what we have slated for 1.7.0, when it's being worked on, and when it hits our testing branch, in case you want to grab it before we officially release. We've already added Channel API support for Java App Engine apps, and are also slated to release a rewrite of our Dashboard (the app you go to when AppScale starts up and it gives you a status page URL) as a Python 2.7 Google App Engine app. |

As usual, we had a great turnout at our IRC Office Hours. Here's a transcript of our chat, in which we talk about fixing pycrypto and lxml support, as well as using kazoo to interact with ZooKeeper. As usual, we hold Office Hours at 8AM PST on Wednesdays, so drop on in and say hi to the team! We'll also be speaking at OSCON about how AppScale provides an open source implementation of the Google App Engine APIs, so if you're in Portland, we'd love to see you there!
