It appears that my MacBook will burn a double-sided DVD but I would
like to check before I spend $22 for a box of them. I did that when
Apple first introduced iDVD, bought two boxes of Apple's DVDs for $20
a box to have half of them not burn. Of the ten, I had only four
successfully burn; $10 a DVD that worked was a bit steep I thought.

Since I don't know anyone that would want the other four if I am
mistaken, I didn't want a full box if there is someone who has some
and is willing to sell one. Also is there someplace other than Best
Buy ($21.99 for a box of 5) to purchase them?

That should be double layer. Sorry.

We're noticing that our double-layer DVDs are coming apart after 10
years.  So this is just a caution.

You have convinced me to not even try it. The video I would be using
is old family film footage so I could have all of my grandmother's 8-
mm film on one DVD. It is just under two hours total so it will
always stay on two DVDs.

Thank you for the response.
