Founded in 1981 (before the Macintosh!) The AppleVan Association of Vancouver Washington is one of the oldest Apple User Groups in the country. Reorganized in 1999 to be dues-free, AppleVan meets at 7:00pm on the fourth Wednesday of every month to discuss and learn more about Apple and Macintosh computers. Meetings usually begin with a short question-and-answer session, followed by a presentation. Meetings for 2010 will be held at the CREAM education center, 5000 East Fourth Plain Blvd (Suite E101), Vancouver WA 98663.
There is also a free Mac Clinic on the third Wednesday of each month, same time and location, sponsored by Rory Bowman of MacRory.com.
Neither event takes place during November or December.
