  My HDTV has 2 HDMI inputs and I&#39;m using them for 1) cable TV and 2) blu-ray &lt;br&gt; player. I connected the Apple TV using components cables and sound via the &lt;br&gt; digital audio connection. It works perfectly with a very crisp clear &lt;br&gt; picture. Actually you can&#39;t really tell the difference between the HDMI and &lt;br&gt; the component connections. Definitely go with the component connection!

  My projector has a HD15 (VGA) connector which also handles component &lt;br&gt; video. I wanted to buy an Apple TV which in addition to HDMI has &lt;br&gt; component RCA connectors, but nobody I talked to could give me a &lt;br&gt; straight answer as to how to connect it for the best signal - some &lt;br&gt; said use a HDMI to DVI adapter and then DVI to VGA (won&#39;t work) others

  We have had significant problems updating two of our three ATVs. &lt;br&gt; One took 2 goes to go thru and the other 5 attempts. &lt;br&gt; There are a lot of reports of problems on the Apple Discussion groups.

  I got a clearance 160 GB Seagate Momentus 5400.3 hard drive last week &lt;br&gt; at Best Buy. &lt;br&gt; I am serious about replacing the existing 40 GB drive in my TV. &lt;br&gt; I want to know if anyone has done this yet &amp;amp; if so how it went. &lt;br&gt; I am pretty sure I need an Intel Mac to do this, as it uses the GUID &lt;br&gt; drive identifier.

  Its Out, I downloaded the update last night (02/12) and its GREAT!! &lt;br&gt; The initial display allows is a basic 2 column page, select the item in the &lt;br&gt; left column, select specifics in the right column and click that to drill in &lt;br&gt; deeper (to the old interface) &lt;br&gt; One REAL nice feature is you can set your AppleTV to Airtunes mode - I did

  Humm, interesting question, it&#39;ll be nearly a year old by then so I &lt;br&gt; can see that it might be due a revision. &lt;br&gt; But not sure what that would be though as there is already a 160Gb &lt;br&gt; model and that&#39;s about the largest drive you are going to get. &lt;br&gt; I&#39;d have thought most other changes could be done via software updates.

  just thought I&#39;d mention I bought one of these and even on my new &lt;br&gt; intel mac it&#39;s about twice as fast as software based encoding. I &lt;br&gt; converted a few movies and they look very good on apple TV
