In an effort to assist MIT in their effort to study and extend App Inventor, we invite you to complete this brief survey<https://docs.google.com/a/google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dER...>on your use of App Inventor. All data collected in this survey will be shared with the MIT Center for Mobile Learning <about:blank>.
We can talk a little more about what makes sense here. For example, maybe we could require people to fill this out in order to get added to the testers list from now on. It you think that makes sense.

In order to ensure the future success of App Inventor and explore innovative uses of mobile technology in education, Google has funded the establishment of a Center for Mobile Learning at the MIT Media Lab. The new center will be actively engaged in studying and extending App Inventor for Android.
In an effort to assist MIT in their effort to study and extend App Inventor, we invite you to complete this brief survey on your use of App Inventor. All data collected in this survey will be shared with the MIT Center for Mobile Learning.

I hope they share the results. scrubbed to protect privacy of course
... I found the parts asking about what other help folks would like... a good question.
As we all know, several of us are helping the user community, both in forums and with consulting/ services.
I would love to have MIT maintain a list of third party resources. When I was tech lead for one of the Open Office projects I liked that Sun put up a list of consultants and other third party resources.
Even if I met App Inventor just a three weeks ago, App Inventor gave
me a dream to develop my own apps within the short terms.
I hope App Inventor will a great tool to develop app specially to
those who have no experience about the programming languages and have
even never tried to make some stuff with their own PC(machine).
Happy new year and greeting from Seoul,Korea.
