Apostrophe User Sessions Timing out earlier than is set

I have this set in factories.yml:

all:
  user:
    param:
      timeout: 86400


But its timing out at 45 minutes consistently, is there anything apostrophe is doing seperatedly? I have this on normal symfony installs and its working fine

Nope. I wonder what your gc_max_lifetime is in php.ini.
