Another question:

Imagine I have 10 different departments, all of them have there own
url e.g

dept1.dom.com
dept2.dom.com

They all need to manage their own content, i.e they have their own
websites, and should not see nor be able to edit each others content.
Is this possible on one install, and would you need a install per
domain/subdomain for this to work. Each depatment may also have
several users within and several pages which need editing.

tks again

Apostrophe is currently designed for one install per site.

(For consistent login management across sites belonging to an
institution you can use something like sfShibbolethPlugin or do some
app-level overrides of sfDoctrineGuardPlugin to override the way it
verifies passwords and do an LDAP query or whatever you need to do.
That part is not really an Apostrophe issue, but just FYI.)

I'm having the same problem right now.

Is there any tutorial / best practice available for similar situations. I imagine this implemented exactly as your apostrophenow.com SaaS solution.

Thank you for the co-operation.

Best regards,
Anton

Hi Tom,

I second that.

Can you please shed some light on your approach to multi-site deployments on your SaaS platform apsotrophenow.com?

This will be a major help!

I've shared quite a bit on this topic on the list recently actually;
dig back a little.
