We are organizing in *Europe, Paris, the 3rd and the 4th of December* a 2 days event on APIs, the APIdays. More infos on apidays.io, updates very soon,
This event is *open to everybody* interested and/or involved in the API economy.
It aims to be 50% evangelisation of APIs for non-API-specific companies, 50% API specific economy event. All-2-days-long will have one side business keynote, one side technical keynote for everybody to find what he wanted to know about APIs
So the goal of these conference is not to sell directly a product but to share a vision, best practices and reflexion for a better API knowledge and a structured ecosytem in Europe.
The *3rd will focus on big companies and how APIs can make these companies evolve inside and outside the organisation* SOA to API, Architecture for scale, API-driven business application, API management solution, API Design, Business models, Marketing to developers, Hackathons...
To put in a nutshell : Private API, Partner API, Open API strategy.
The *4th will focus on Startups and long-tale developers*, API driven companies, API-as-a-product strategy, advanced API design, Open data to OpenAPI, Hypermedias APIs and Internet of things.
We have today some very high level speakers we contacted from our network, thanks to APIevangelist and Programmableweb team which are media partners of the event but we want to *open it to all API craft community *and cowdsource keynotes from everywhere, to every company or speaker which thinks he can bring a lot to this conference*.* * * The conference will take place on the technological campus of EPITA from the IONIS GROUP (a 20 french IT and business university group) and is organized by 2 companies involved on API, Webshell <http://webshell.io/> and Fabernovel <http://fabernovel.com/>. * * *If you already want to propose a keynote, send a mail to cont...@apidays.io .* (Our next website will have a form)
Thank you and see you soon,
Mehdi * * PS: APIdays in french sounds like "Happy days" :) We made "API hours" few months ago a smaller scale....;)
A new version of the website with attending speakers updated on apidays.io.
This event really want to focus on APIs and how this new programmable web can change 20th century companies to transform them into API-driven one.
Don't hesitate to propose keynote , as technical or business oriented, on the "apply for keynote " to make this event structure and evangelise the Europe API ecosystem.
Cheers,
