I'm currently looking at using HAL for a new API I'm developing. I thought I'd ping this group and see if anyone has used it on a "real world" project and if you had any thoughts/opinions/etc you'd care to share?

foxycart have used it, talk to Luke Stokes. Also reachably, talk to
david haslem. iirc, GEICO use it - not sure who's best to speak to
there.

This is also noteworthy:

If you have any questions let me know, or hit the hal-discuss mailing
list.. there's roughly 200 people on there and it's reasonable active.

Cheers,
M

We're not quite "in the wild" yet, but we have a public sandbox you can take a look at. Some details here, but as you can tell, we're still under development: http://wiki.foxycart.com/v/0.0.0/hypermedia_api

Mike's HAL Browser has been really helpful for us and the HAL format in general has been great to work with so far. We're eating our own dog food on this one before we make it public by rebuilding our own admin to use the API almost exclusively.

I'd be happy to answer any questions you have.
