APEC (Andhra Pradesh Environment Connect) was set up with 20 members on the Earth Day - 22nd April 2009.
The tagline for APEC is Awareness to Action
Enthusiastic environmentalists who are part of APEC group do not preach but practice green actions, however  small and however few they may be.
APEC members work on 5 key environmental areas
1. Energy Conservation
2. Water Conservation (Replenish, Restore)
3. Tree Planting and Tree Protection
4. Waste Management (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)
5. Organic farming
Last decade of APEC journey has been quite effective. Many of the initiatives taken up by APEC went to become Government Policy
