restart ape-server

i'm try restart the service ape-server and show it a error

code: sudo /etc/init.d/ape-server restart

yes, i chek the file in the next route  "/var/ape/utils/checkTool.js"  and if exist.

if I try  www.mydomain.com:6969 don't work

hi,

installing the binary I have the same problem

steps that follow

1.

download the following link

http://www.ape-project.org/download/APE_Complete_Package.html

Generic Linux binary 64bit (APE_Server-1.1.1.amd64.bin.tar.gz) 

2.

Unpack the APE server tar file into a folder (I have done so
into /etc/ape/APE_Server) 

3.

Run the aped binary (connect to server via Putty, cd all the

way to the "/etc/ape/APE_Server/bin" folder and then type "./aped" at
the command-line) 

Results of Step 3 are below: 

root@blas:/etc/ape/APE_Server/bin# ./aped

   _   ___ ___

  /_\ | _ \ __|

 / _ \|  _/ _|

/_/ \_\_| |___|

and then the cursor just sits there. I am not sure if I should be
typing anything else. (exit / stop?????)

That's means it's working. Since you start manually, ape in running in your shell. If you close putty, ape is gonna be close. Check the ape config file to start ape as a deamon an then not in the shell.
