Why do people bother with this stuff? Its so pointless and no one even looks at it.

I just dont see why thin4040 would bother wasting his life to do it

He wouldn't. He just took the time to write a bot for him in hopes
that 1 of the 10 000 mails he's sending every 10 minutes will get a
hit.
Kind of makes you wish you could vigilante and skin that chubby
spamming motherfucker alive, doesn't it?

On a different topic, when compiled, which one, at it's bare
functionality, is the smallest engine in kilobytes? Motor2, Fisix, APE
or Box2dAS? I'm thinking about a fancy preloader so gotta keep those
bytes in check.

Yeah id lock him in a cell under ground and visit him in 20 years with a bunch of dogs.

Id prob say APE but im pretty sure all the engines are small, i guess the size of the preloader depends on the graphics you use in the preloader which will completely overshadow the size of the engine.

Should I decide to load bitmaps then yeah, but for cases like those
we've got vectors. Besides, you can do some pretty impressive stuff
with code alone. Procedural content generation can go a long way, as
.kkrieger showed (complete 3d quake-like game with sound effects,
music, tons of textures, multiple guns and enemies in less than
100kb). Kind of reminds me.. when the next Flash is out I'll be sure
to play around with procedural bitmap generation using Hydra.
