Margaret DowneyThis is just a reminder of "Everyone Has a Story," a free presentation by Margaret Downey this coming Tuesday, March 13, at 7 p.m.

Location: Curtis Hall, Sierra 2 Community Center, 2791 24th Street, Sacramento, see map here.

Speaker Margaret Downey is an internationally known feminist and freethought  leader, past president of Atheist Alliance International, creator of the annual Richard Dawkins Award, and founder of the Anti-Discrimination Support Network, the Freethought Society of Philadelphia and the Thomas Paine Memorial Committee. She will tell the gripping story of her journey from being a baptized, practicing Catholic to an outspoken nontheist activist and advocate.

Too often do we ignore the human and emotional connection to freedom of thought. Margaret hopes her "Bye Bull" story will inspire and motivate others to describe their own awakenings.

Whether a freethinker or a friend & supporter of civic equality and justice for freethinkers, Margaret Downey will inspire you with her brand of activism!

Free admission, light refreshments included.  More details here.

Note, a raffle of restaurant gift cards (Hoppy Brewing Company, 6300 Folsom Blvd) will help cover hall and speaker expenses.

Join us! Friends welcome. And please forward this to anyone who might appreciate this singular opportunity.
