3D Stereoscopic Images

Hi all,

I've been playing about with a NextEngine 3D Scanner (and having a lot of fun). I'd love to be able to show some of the scans in a 2D format so was thinking about generating stereoscopic images for a poster or series of slides. The scans are BA Figurines. Has anyone done anything similar or can they recommend some software that will do this, either from .obj (or similar format) or even .png of .jpg. There are a bundle of programs online which will do it from the later format but i'd rather go on a recommendation.

Not sure about the format support without checking, but look at
Meshlab and Paraview. Both can create the stereoscopic images and
understand point data etc.. And open source, of course :)
