This is a link to a "prequel" to "Lord of the Rings."
This posting is partly a reflection that a lot of archaeologists are Tolkien
fans, but also because part of this was filmed at West Stow Anglo-Saxon
village. And if nothing else, it might give people ideas about the level of
quality we can now achieve on pretty cheap budgets and a bit of streaming.
So: however good it is as a film (I haven't seen it yet), maybe it inspires
