I love the idea of anthologize and installed right away. I can go
through every step with no problem, created a project, managed it, but
on trying to export the project, I get to the last step and everything
fails.
When I click "Export" on that last screen, I get just a white screen--
nothing exports, nothing happens.
Tried this with exporting as pdf, tei, and rtf. Same result in all
cases.
I'm running WP 3.0.1 with multi-site, if that helps.

Ah, sorry! This is on Mac OS 10.6.4. Same problem in Firefox (3.6.8) and Safari (5.0.1)

Thanks! Boone has a thought that was different than mine, and your multiple browsers confirmed his thought is likely the correct one. Into the bug tracker it goes.

One possible reason might be the presence of WordPress 'shortcodes' in your posts. On the export screen, you can disable the use of short codes, which removes content, but it might at least help to isolate the problem.
So, I'd suggest trying with shortcodes disabled. If that at least outputs something, we'll be able to work from there.
Thanks

Disabling shortcodes had no effect. I see the same problem on every blog I test, on two separate WordPress installs. Both are on the same server, but don't share databases or directories.

If it is okay for us to import from your RSS feed (not to any public space), we might be able to attempt our own exports and chase the problem that way. So, if that's okay, could I ask for a url to your feed?

Joe, you might also try throwing some echo "OK"; die(); statements into various parts of function load_template() of anthologize.php. I'm curious to know if it's being called at all, and if so, where it's getting hung up.

I also installed immediately after a colleague posted a link to your
site. Very exciting. I also get the white screen. Very
disappointing. URL for my feed is http://christhompson.ca/feed/.

I don't get a "white" screen, I get a blank page with page numbers,
not sure if that is the same issue or not. If interested, I'd be happy
to give you desktop control of our server via Elluminate if you need
to poke around on a server that is having this issue. We run Apache on
Windows and PHP 5, I'm getting the same blankness on all of the blogs
I have tried, but RTF works (except for the strange string of
characters smart quote issue).

Hi, I'll ask the same favor that I asked Mark -- if a TEI export comes out, that'll be helpful for us to look at, no matter what it contains (or doesn't contain)

I get a white screen when exporting to ePub but a whole lot of this
when exporting to PDF.

Then, at the end there's something like this:
>TCPDF ERROR: [Image] Unable to get image: /home/ophonyor/public_html/cac/wp-content/plugins/anthologize/includes/tcpd f//files/frank2.jpg
This happens on two different sites and in FF as well as in Chrome.

Thanks for trying it out, and for reporting help back!
These are a couple of things that we've heard about from a number of people, and have occupied much of the dev discussion and work over the time since the launch. We've done a lot of work, but we'll also really appreciate it if, when we come out with an update, you could give the update a try and tell us how close we are getting to solving this issue.
