Dear All,
I am happy to announce that the first stable release of AntConc 3.3.0 is
now available for download for Windows, Macintosh OS X, and Linux here:
http://www.antlab.sci.waseda.ac.jp/software.html<http://www.antlab.sci.waseda.ac.jp/antconc_index.html>
More information about this latest version can be found here:
http://www.antlab.sci.waseda.ac.jp/antconc_index.html
AntConc 3.3.0 is a major upgrade of AntConc, including a completely new
graphics engine that runs natively on all three platforms (so no more X11
on Macintosh OS X). As a result, AntConc 3.3.0 looks a lot better than the
old AntConc 3.2.x versions. On both Windows and OS X, I have adjusted the
general appearance so the whole feel of the program should be more modern
than before. I have also fixed a few minor bugs and added a few new
features including a range function and a simplified way to load lemma
lists and reference corpora. You can read about the changes here:
http://www.antlab.sci.waseda.ac.jp/software/antconc330/AntConc_readme.pdf
Please let me know what you think of the new version.
Best regards,
Laurence Anthony
