Communication and Crisis Management in Public Health: Focus on Patient Safety

 

Dear Colleague,

You are warmly invited to participate in an interactive and educative 2-day Pharmacovigilance Workshop. It will be held in Accra, Ghana from 9th -10th July 2012 at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.


The theme for the workshop is Communication and Crisis Management in Public Health: Focus on Patient Safety.


This exciting workshop will bring together Pharmacovigilance experts and other Healthcare Professionals from all over the continent and abroad. Experts from the WHO-Collaboration Center for Advocacy and Training in Pharmacovigilance and Uppsala Monitoring Centre will offer training in effective communication skills, crisis communications and media relations. This meeting will also offer a forum for the professional exchange of knowledge and skills related to Communication in Public Health to promote patient safety. T

 

This workshop will be followed by the 5th All Africa Congress on Basic and Clinical Pharmacology from 11-13th July 2012 also at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel.
