DECEMBER FLIES BY!
PUT ON YOUR JINGLE BELLS, YOUR REINDEER HORNS AND YOUR SANTA HAT!
and join Bob Trapp, Doug & Linda Lee, Julie Bradley and the other
folks "way up north" for the "Let Freedom Ring with the Bells of
Christmas" City of Killeen Annual Christmas Parade on Saturday,
December 12th. AGA has a beautiful float of white greys pulling a red
sleigh and a sign along the bottom that says, "The reindeer just
weren't fast enough." It's so much fun to walk beside the float with
a greyhound. Folks applaude for us, holler out "I've got a
greyhound", and reach out to pet one when there's a pause in the
parade. There's also plenty of room on the float for those humans and/
or greys that would prefer to ride!
HERE'S THE INFO:
Please have your person and your greys at the AGA float by 3:00 PM
Approximate staging location: Ave C & betweem Root & College Streets
(Float #49)

A few pointers: (1) Bring a coat for your grey. Depending on the
temperature they might need it before the parade. Walking generally
warms them up just fine, but if they ride on the float as opposed to
walking, it's drafty!!! (2) Bring water - all that attention and
excitement makes them thirsty, (3) Bring a poop bag - no explanation
needed.
