YOU’VE NEVER MET A GREYHOUND
by Tracey Stark, AGA member
If you’ve never met a greyhound, Then perhaps you do not know
That there’s much more to a greyhound, Than just how fast that they
can go.
They’re built for speed from head to toe, Thin waist, long legs and a
pointy nose,
But what truly sets these dogs apart, Is their gentle nature and
tender heart.
Ancient dogs with much history, Companions to kings and nobility,
The only dog in the Bible found, Is the smart, swift-footed and loving
greyhound.
You might think, “greyhounds aren’t for me,” They’re hyper and have
too much energy,
But that’s a myth, just so you know, These hounds love to be couch
potatoes.
A daily walk and a little play, Then these hounds are happy to nap all
day.
Greyhounds are very easy to please: They just want to love their
families.
If you’ve never met a greyhound, Then you really shouldn’t hesitate,
To call Austin Greyhound Adoption And see why greyhounds are truly
greyt.
