iFlipr
|
| |
Has anyone tried this? It doesn't look like there will be an Anki app
for iPhone/iPod Touch because the fundraiser looks bleak, so I am
wondering if anyone here using Anki has tried iFlipr and converted
Anki decks to it and how it works.

different stats update
|
| |
Just wrote about having different stats on two machines. It seems one
of the machines reflects the same stats as that on the Anki web site.
The other machine does not, and it is this other machine that I use
almost exclusively to study with. Odd.

Bug report?
|
| |
Problem with 9.7
Some of the sample deck cards are coming up as invalid format, and I
get an error message when I close anki now.
Also, the ETA at the bottom is drastically different from before. It
used to say I needed X number of hours and now its about an hour less.

slightly different stats on two machines
|
| |
I have just downloaded the 0.9.7 update on my iMac and Macbook Pro,
both running 10.5.4. On one of my decks, there is a different in the
number of cards awaiting review. One machine shows 3, the other 69.
Any idea why?

Mac settings folder
|
| |
Shouldn't the settings/plugin etc folder be located in "~/Library/
Application Support/Anki" instead of a hidden folder in the user's
home directory? Is there a reason for the behavior diverging from most
normal Mac applications?

instal, uninstall, etc...
|
| |
Hi When I upgraded the last time, I very carefully kept the previous anki by renaming it and then installed the new anki. I found out that I didn't want 9.7 until rlc_bitzer was working with it, so I removed the newly installed executable and tried to use the previous one. Unfortunatly, I still get the new -- broken (I rely heavily on rlc_bitzer... more »

cantonese readings
|
| |
Hi,
I'm using the supplied cantonese model, which seems to imply that it
should be able to generate the reading field from the expression.
However for me nothing happens.
Is there some software that needs to be installed for this to work?
I'm on ubuntu in case that matters.
Cheers,
Tim

Installing Anki on a laptop
|
| |
Hi there,
I am going to travel and want to install Anki on a laptop (from the
existing version on my desktop). This is the laptop of a friend I am
going to visit, so I can't do it before arriving there.
I copied the
Anki setup.exe
My personal deck
is that enough to get Anki running just the same as on my desktop at... more »

Remaining: 0 + 0 + 0 (ETA: Unknown) Congratulations! You have finished for now. The next card will be shown in Congratulations! You have finished the deck... more »
