I have just discovered Anki and it looks to be tremendous software. However
my mouse misbehaves with this software!
When I click the software often fails to respond, or if it does react it is
often the wrong control that is activated - as if the click is offset from
the pointer.
Indeed sometime when I click into the Anki window (when another window has
the focus) I actually see the mouse pointer jump a seemingly random
distance in a random direction (although interestingly the jump is always
up the screen).
My mouse is a Wacom Graphire tablet with the wireless mouse accessory. I
think this is where the problem lies! If I use the pressure sensitive
Graphire Pen (instead of the mouse) Anki works perfectly. There is one
other app (of the dozens on my PC) that shows similar symptoms: Picard by
MusicBrainz.
I wonder whether there is a common library between the two apps?
I am using the latest stable version of Anki (1.2.8) on Windows 7 x64, with
the latest Wacom drivers.
Can anyone confirm this odd behaviour?
Any solutions?
Thanks,
Ampa
