Banu Birecikligil @ Fiktion Okzident
Banu Birecikligil 30 Ekim'de İstanbul'da, Tophane-i Amire'de açılacak olan
Fiktion Okzident adlı karma sergiye katılıyor. Sergi, Türkiye-Almanya
ilişkilerini kalıcı bir biçimde tamamen yeni bir toplumsal ve politik temele
dayandıran, Türkiye'den Almanya'ya işçi göçünün 50. yıldönümü nedeniyle
tasarlandı. Sergiye katılan diğer sanatçılar arasında Hanefi Yeter, Azade
Köker, Esra Ersen, Banu Birecikligil, Nezaket Ekici, Ferhat Özgür, İrfan
Önürmen, Vahit Tuna, Altan Çelem, Esat Tekand, Şener Özmen, Cengiz Tekin,
Nurseren Tor, Timur Çelik, Neco Çelik ve Ali Kepenek bulunuyor. Sergi 26
Kasım'a kadar görülebilir.

Banu Birecikligil @ Fiktion Okzident
Banu Birecikligil is participating in the group exhibit, 'Fiktion Okzident'
opening on October 30th, 2011 at Tophane-i Amire, Istanbul. The exhibition
has been organized on account of the 50th anniversary of Turkish labor
migration to Germany that permanently altered the relations between Turkey
and Germany creating a brand new social and political basis for the
relations. Nurseren Tor, Ferhat Özgür, Vahit Tuna, İrfan Önürmen, Altan
Çelem, Esat Tekand, Şener Özmen, Cengiz Tekin, Hanefi Yeter, Azade Köker,
Esra Ersen, Nezaket Ekici, Timur Çelik, Neco Çelik, Ali Kepenek, Banu
Birecikligil, Kınay Olcaytu, Denizan Özer ve Sedat Mehder take part in the
exhibition with their sculptures, photographs, videos, paintings and various
installations.The exhibit can be seen till November 26th, 2011.

15 Kasım'da, x-ist'in işbirliği ile Han 38'de açılan "İntiba" adlı yeni
sergisinde sanatçı hatırayı kaybedilen bir an değil, değişerek başkalaşan
bir süreç, terk edilmeyi ise son değil bir başlangıç olarak ele alıyor. Her
anın, nesnenin, kişinin içinde barındırdığı sonsuz hikaye zamanın ötesinde

at Han 38 with the collaboration of x-ist and Han 38, the artist interprets
abandonment as a starting point, rather than a finish line, while memory
