Subject: Instructions for Student Involvement Fair on September 9
To: umc-e...@colorado.edu
Hello Student Group and Department Representatives-
Thank you for volunteering to be a part of our 4th Annual Fall Student
Involvement Fair (formerly the Student Organization Fair).
My name is Sarina Steinbarth and I am the Coordinator for Cultural
Programs in the UMC Student Programs Office (SPO) here at CU. I am
getting in touch to confirm that your group has reserved a table for
the Student Involvement Fair (SIF) next Wednesday, and to give you
some important information regarding the event.
The SIF is taking place from 11:00am-2:00pm on Wednesday, September 9
on Norlin Quad (note the change from the UMC Fountain).
Table selection will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis
beginning at 10:30am. Please come to the large tent at the entrance to
the diagonal on Norlin Quad(under the balloon arch) in order to
sign-in and receive your raffle tickets and information packet. We
recommend that all representatives show up no later than 10:45am in
order to guarantee their table.
We are expecting between 120-130 groups to be represented at the
fair—please come early if you would like to get a centrally-located
table!
We will be providing each group with a table and two chairs. Please
bring any decorations, posters, banners, balloons, or give-aways that
you would like to distribute. In order to be a part of the fair, you
must have a representative present at your table from 11:00am-2:00pm.
We will be providing free food, live music, and prizes for all in attendance.
Please be in touch if you have any further questions. Otherwise, I’ll
look forward to seeing you next Wednesday!
Sincerely,
-Sarina
