The android-x86 tree if I wanted to revert back to the latest version of android-x86 (froyo) minus the change-over to the 2.6.38 kernel?

I basically want to go back to the 2.6.35 kernel for my froyo build… I need to try out some things regarding my touch issues.

Thanks,

Doug

Do you mean something like this ?

$ cd external/mesa
$ git checkout -b android-x86-2.2 android-x86-2.2

$ cd kernel
$ git checkout -b android-2.6.35 x86/android-2.6.35

;-)

This won't revert everything, but at least the most important.

I'm not quite positive, but I guess this may solve some of your
problems, and may be the touch problem...

BTW, what kind of touch panel is yours : resistive or capacitive ?

Thanks.

The Duo has a capacitive, the One has an optical.

Well... the 2.2.1 tree with the 2.6.35.7 kernel WORKS... both the sparta and
my new "one" configuration.

So, something seems to be out of whack with the 2.2.2/2.6.38 tree. I'm
guessing that there is some sort of compatibility issue between the 2.6.38
kernel and the 2.2.2 tree... I don’t think that Google has launched any
2.2.2 products using the 2.6.38 kernel... so this is really not a shock.

I'm going to try taking the 2.2.2 tree and run the 2.6.35.7 kernel with
it...
