Hi there,
I've just tried out ICS RC1 on my Acer laptop (Core i5 SandyBridge) and it work great.
I think it is good to make it persistent on a partition but installer is not support GPT partition table then I tried to installed it on USB with ext3 partitioned. After that I copy all USB's content to GPT partition and setup Grub2 to boot android's kernel but it stuck while loading initrd.img until I plug USB with android installed on before into my PC and it boot from USB instead of HDD even I was set root & everything point to HDD's partition.
I think it is problem with initrd.img detect android file system script or missing option to support GPT from kernel nor kernel's module to load GPT.
So, anyone have solution to solve this problem?
If you have kernel module for GPT then please attach here so I can try it out :)
Hope this project will worth much and we will have Android multiboot parallel with another OS on PC, it is good solution for quick action like: web browsing, email, music, video... also I think it will be more useful at end of this year after Windows 8 released and there are many Laptop, Ultrabook, Netbook has touch screen.
Keep your good work, cheer,
Regard!
