mixing EEEPC & generic 2.2 drivers

I am using a Lenovo-S10, and the case is:

1. for the eeepc version, everything is work except ethernet
2. for the generic version, ethernet is work but the screen is
flickering

I suppose the graphic driver in the generic version is not compatible
with S10, and here is my suggestion:

1. replace the ethernet driver of "eeepc" with the "generic" one
or
2. replace the graphic driver of "generic" with the "eeepc" one

"Not-working Internet" and "Flickering screen" are the most frequently
asked questions in the "Issues", hope my suggestion may work.
