Android for the HTC Touch Diamond

The HTC Touch diamond has the same chipset as the T-Mobile G1 if i'm
correct. Would be nice to port it to that device, making the beauty of
Android and the beauty of the Diamond a perfect match.
Too bad i don't have too much knowledge about porting this, so i hope
that there are some enthousiastic developers around here who do!

Couldn't agree more... please respond here if anybody knows of any
work being done on this. I am a competent Java coder and an
experienced Linux user, but could turn my hand to C if necessary. I'm
keen to help get Android ported to the HTC Touch Diamond.
