Android 4.0 CDD

Hi,

Can you anyone please help to clarify the following

Android 4.0 CDD indicates the following in the Memory and Storage
section

7.6. Memory and Storage
7.6.1. Minimum Memory and Storage

Device implementations MUST have at least 350MB of non-volatile
storage available for application private data.
That is, the /data partition MUST be at least 350MB.

Is this 350 MB has to be made available only for application private
data OR 350 MB of data partition is for downloaded apps and
application private data?

The /data partition needs to be 350MB.  That is, there must be at least 350MB of storage for everything that goes in to /data.  What are you doing that makes this specification not clear?

Thanks for the response..

My understanding is /data can have installed/downloaded applications
and application private data..

Does CDD request at least 350MB solely for application private data?
OR
Android 4.0 CDD request a minimum /data partition size to be 350 MB
