who tell the zygote to born a child process

Hi:
       each app will be born by zygote,but who tell the zygote to do that?
       I see the zygote create a socket from init process then listen to a port,but I do not find some clients to connect to the socket?

      so my question is that is there a  proxy to responsible for communication to the zygote? which one?

Lok at the ActivityManagerService, which is itself invoked from the "am" command-line program.
