Compiling the SDK for Windows

Hello again,

As the subject suggests, I tried to compile myself the SDK for Windows
with Cygwin. I followed the instructions in the
How_to_make_Windows_SDK.txt file. But I ran into several problems,
like make errors and missing executables.

So I just wanted to now : is compiling the SDK for and on Windows
supported?
And if it is, is there somewhere a way to do it that works without too
many complications?
And if it is not, is there at least a way to compile the SDK for
Windows, would it be on Linux?
