I have build cupcake the first time with htc proprietary files, audio
was not working on my device.

Second build, I enabled ringtones (not sure why it's not enabled by
default) and added google apps (maps, gmail, market...), audio still
not working.

Is there something that should be enabled ? I'm still able to call and
hear voices correctly, but if I hit speaker nothing happens.

I'm wondering if the cupcake-release branch is more stable than
cupcake ? browser, gmail, youtube ... are very unstable in my device.
Also I noticed that keyboard light is off !

Thank you

There's extremely little difference between cupcake and
cupcake-release, so I don't expect that switching would help.

The truth is, at this point, putting the open-source tree on dream is
still entirely untested and widely unsupported and unmaintained. I'm
hoping to improve that situation over time, but that's gonna take some
effort and therefore isn't going to happen overnight.
