Android Device Booting Log Customization for Mature Product,not for Engineering

Hi,List!

I want to know if there are some good reference for Android Device Booting Log Customization.From Device Power on,Kernel Logo,Android Logo to Android Luncher and ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED,Most Guys use boot logo,Kernel Logo,Android Logo (replace initlogo.rle),Three  logos/Several logs exchange when Android Device System booting.

So if want to place a progressbar or Achieve mature Market android device or Smartphone Logo Customization when system booting from Power on,are there some reference,I mean "Safe" way to achieve this,in U-boot level,Kernel level,Android Level. I dont think HTC /Motorola/Else use logo exchange to achieve this.

while booting u-boot puts its logo in the frame-buffer, usually when kernel boots it clears the frame-buffer set by u-boot and sets with some different logo, you can share the same logo between u-boot and kernel by setting CONFIG_FB_PRE_INIT_FB in kernel configuration. more details can be found in below link
