Dmitry,

Your work is vital for me. I thank you for that. I'm watching this emailing list closely mail by mail. Also I'm keeping a close eye on your site and I noticed that you created a trac system. Do you think it is possible for you to give us the possibility of creating accounts and open tickets?

Second thing (more like a ticket for your trac)

My open source project port for android depends on your great custom NDK. Unfortunately, I'm stuck because I can't cascade-load shared libraries that are using STL. See this post for details:

Thank you for your time

Hi,

I'm not ready yet to open my trac for free registration and/or anonymous posting but I can add any one interested there - just send me private request with your e-mail address and I'll add you there.

Regarding your problem with shared/static libraries: actual problem is that there should not be two or more C++ runtime stuff in application. It can be done in two ways - a) use libstdc++/libsupc++ as shared libraries, pack them into application and load on start and b) add a parameter allowing user specify he/she don't want to link statically with libstdc++/libsupc++. This will allow link c++ stuff only to the one of shared libraries used and don't link with anothers.

Here tickets for that:
http://www.crystax.net/trac/ticket/4
http://www.crystax.net/trac/ticket/9

Ok, now I fixed problem with my trac server and have enabled open
registration there. So now every one can register account on
http://www.crystax.net/trac and create/modify tickets regarding NDK with
full C++ support.

Thank you for your efforts. I will try to bring my project to life on Android by the end of this week. Right now, it compiles just fine, but it doesn't pass the unit tests because that little issue.

I'll keep you posted with my progress/discoveries/problems that I might have

Cheers,
Andrei
