Example of accessing native video decoder

Can someone post an example of accessing the native video decoder via
the ndk?

The NDK does not have a public API for this.

Do you mean OMX?
But as I know on the real devices like HTC phones you will need privileges to access the decoder device.
Or the OMX API will simply fail.

An example use of OMX would be helpful.  By privileges do you mean in the manifest or at some other level?
